The Madmadheshwar Trek is a moderate trek and is perfect for adventure enthusiasts. The trek takes you through steep ascents and descents, rocky terrain, and narrow paths. The trek is challenging, but the stunning views and the spiritual experience make it worth the effort.

The trek begins at Chopta, a small village located at an altitude of 2680 metres. The trek to Tungnath is about 5 kms long and takes 4-5 hours to complete. The trail is easy to navigate and takes trekkers through beautiful rhododendron and oak forests.

The trek starts from Sagar village, Helang, or Urgam village.
It is considered the toughest trek among the Panch Kedar due to its steep and challenging paths. Typically, it takes a day to complete the trek on horse, covering a distance of around
20 kms, one way.

Bhavishya Badri is located at an height of 2744 mtrs beyond the Tapovan, Bhavishya Badri is situated at 17 kms from Joshimath in Subhain Village.
This small temple deity is Lord Vishnu and known to be the future seat of Lord Badrinath. There is a beautiful water spring in Bhavishya Badri and the place has many Cedar trees.

The Vridha Badri holds a very high significance in the Hindu mythology. The name of Vridha Badri is derived from the form of an old man in which Lord Vishnu is worshiped here.The elevation of Vridha Badri is of 1,380m in Animath.

This temple can be reached after a serene 5kms trek from Kanakchauri village, followed by 380 steps. The village is around 40 km from Rudraprayag. The trek offers enchanting views of Bandarpunch, Kedarnath Dome and Chaukhamba Peak.
